The flower garden
Sow hardy annuals, herbs and wild flower seed outdoors
Plant new pond plants and divide waterlilies
Sow new lawns or repair bare patches
Last chance to prune climbing and rambling roses

Protect fruit blossom from late frosts
Start to feed citrus plants
Sow herbs such as parsley, coriander, dill and chamomile in a sunny bed or container

Keep putting out food for birds, as they're busy raising their broods
Look out for clusters of aphids on shoot tips and young leaves, and wipe off before they multiply
